I spent the better part of August traveling around the US with a considerable amount of time spent on the West Coast and lovely San Francisco.

While there, one afternoon i met with the charming Sudeepa Khanna, the editor at Milgayi.com, a Bay-area website that features Indian fashion and accessory designers from all over the world. Our meeting had been planned months in advance!

Over a long lunch of fresh and vibrant Vietnamese fare at the chic eatery Out The Door we delved into insightful questions put together by Sudeepa and her team.

Hot off the Press:The Graduates 2011

As you may have seen over several months, ELLE India is a great supporter of up and coming designers with a distinct point of view. Us included. Much gratitude.

This July to add another feather in our cap the ELLE team featured Meera in their story ‘The Graduates’ which highlights the work, aesthetic and ethos of young designers across fashion genres.

Meera was styled by Jahnavi Tampi in a knee length printed Missoni dress, her own accessories (long star pendant chain + assorted gold plated cuffs) and her own shoes. Even more fun was the interview after by Meera’s friend and ELLE features editor Chinmayee Manjunath.

The resultant was an easy breezy shoot and interview capturing the essence of the brand and its creator.

Winds Of Change – Femina feature June 2011

Femina magazine brought out a special issue titled ‘The Best of Femina – Faces’ and featured our products in the fashion editorial ‘Winds of Change’.

The photoshoot was set in the interiors of India and shows off the new aesthectic in Indian fashion. Easy, breezy, effortless chic.

Accessorizing Atsu – Lakme Fashion Week 2011

We’re so glad to announce our collaboration with designer Atsu Sekhose to accessorize his Resort 2011 runway collection at the recently concluded Lakme Fashion week.

With the collection being as light-as-air as can be seen, the brief was: Clean, sleek, gold cuffs and neck pieces. No texture and no other colour.

So finally this collection of sleek light gold-plated metal cuffs and bangles was born, with some looks of wooden bangles added in from our existing line.

In the end the necklaces were thought of as being superfluous so we finalized with the cuff looks.
